Get ready for 2011, bitches

Hello blogging world!

It’s been a looooong time since our last post, but we wanted to bring the fun back to the blog-o-sphere by writing again. We know you missed us, and quite frankly, we missed expressing ourselves to all of you.

Well, I don’t know how you felt about 2010, but I personally hated it and am looking forward to a new beginning in 2011. Maybe this year will be better. Maybe 2011 is the year where I possibly find an attractive man (with a college education, real “big kids” job, that’s physically fit, tan, 6’2” and doesn’t live at home with his parents) – Mom would be so proud.

So not sure if you do this, but I made a little list of New Year’s Resolutions (really, to-dos) to help me get through what will most likely be another 12-month struggle to stay afloat in this challenging but oh-so-much-fun thing we call life.

· Don’t drink Monday – Wednesday

o A stupid resolution, really. I’ll probably break this rule next Monday, but I'm trying to be as responsible as possible (ha!)

· Don’t get into fights on the bus

o I must admit, I have had a couple of bus bum fights in my day. I’ve also been annoyed with and have said something to people who play music on their phones on the bus—because I know I’m not the only person who thinks it’s really effin annoying, but I’m one of the few that will actually say something about it.

· Play “Just Dance 2” on the Wii at least 5 times a week

o If you haven’t tried it, OMG it’s so much fun *and* it’s actually a decent workout when done correctly

· Don’t take work home with me

o For those of you that know me super well, I’m really going to make an effort here. I’m sure you’re just as tired of hearing me talk about work as I am actually talking about it. Let’s move on and find something else to talk about…like the beautiful men of Real Madrid

And, most importantly, I’m bring back the 22 year-old version of myself. I’m talking about the fun-loving, spontaneous, bunches-of-fun girl we all knew and loved. Get ready, because she’s coming back and is dying to plaaaaaaay.
